Better Way to Manage Word Templates with TRIM®
HP TRIM® Context's Document Assembly module replaces an organisation's standard Word templates with Word templates stored in TRIM® that are integrated with existing TRIM® data.
Information stored in TRIM® as metadata can be dynamically inserted into Word
documents to adapt them to different circumstances and audiences. Additionally
by creating and maintaining the templates using TRIM® you can easily control the
look and feel (style) of the templates centrally. An appointed Administrator(s)
can update a template at any time and instantaneously push it out to the users.
Using the Document Assembly module with Word ensures that documents are saved
into TRIM® on creation; therefore TRIM® can manage the drafting process of the
document from creation through to finalisation.
Working in conjunction with the templates are standard clauses or standard paragraphs/text, which can be inserted into the templates. The templates and standard clauses in TRIM® are used by a number of organisations to generate records such as responses to complaints, legal documents, contracts, reports and general correspondence.
