We Need to Upgrade Our EDRMS

Is your organisation using TRIM® Version 5 as an EDMS or EDRMS?

Are you using TRIM Captura®?

If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then you should consider Upgrading to the latest TRIM® 6R2 version, and for those using TRIM® Version 5 or TRIM Captura® you should be aware that HP Software (formerly Tower Software) no longer supports these versions.

TRIM® 6R2 has many new features and has included over 500 enhancements and bug fixes. Some of the benefits of upgrading to TRIM® 6R2 include:

• Refreshed look and feel of interface, improving the overall user experience
• Streamlining of menu structure to increase the user experience and productivity
• Streamlining the check-in/check-out functions and menus
• Advanced Drag and Drop allows documents to be dragged in and out of TRIM® into Windows Explorer, Outlook, Word, etc.
• Improved Record Searching facility (“Find Records Pane”) increasing efficiency
• Emails with attachments now have a different icon in TRIM® highlighting emails with attachments, making it easier to find the relevant email in a set of messages with the same subject line
• All mail users have access to the new TRIM® mail viewer options allowing them to Reply, Reply to All and Forward messages that are stored in TRIM’s® mail format - this is especially useful for mail systems that don’t provide a native mail rendition
• Microsoft Outlook users can drag emails, email attachments and email folders directly from the Outlook client into TRIM Desktop® or TRIM Context®
• Lotus Notes users can now make use of an “Attach TRIM® Record” function in their email client
