This is the first release of the Content Manager 25.1 program series and contains key new features to the Content Manager Mobile App and Content Manager Zero Foot Print (ZFP) Office/Outlook.
The Content Manager Mobile App now includes a new feature, Activities Due, that displays all the due Workflow Activities assigned to the currently logged in user. This feature enables users to track and complete Content Manager Workflow Activities(Tasks) assigned to them.
When completing an activity within the Mobile App, users are provided with the option to upload and store any corresponding files relating to the task within Content Manager, such as a photo of the completed work.
A new system option has been added to Content Manager 25.1 for the Check In and Close button to be enabled by default for all users using the Zero Foot Print Integration.
This ensures that when Content Manager records are closed in the newer web version of Microsoft Office 365 suite, documents will automatically be checked back into Content Manager with any updates. This will reduce the volume of records remaining checked out and locked out to users.
Content Manager Access Controls can now be applied to templated Actions and Procedures to assist in locking out how sensitive templated actions or procedures that non-administrators of the system should be aware of.
As part of the collaborative editing mechanism, the Content Manager Web Client supports CheckOut to Google Drive and OneDrive using different authentication mechanisms(e.g. Azure, ADFS, Google, and Windows).
In Content Manager 25.1 enhanced authentication requires the hprmServiceAPI.config file to be updated with additional parameters which is described further in the supporting OpenText Content Manager Web Client Installation and Configuration document.
The complete list of enhancements and new features can be found in the Content Manager 25.1 release notes here.
